Foucault called Marx and Freud "founders of discursivity." That's a nice thing to be called. From the Frankfurt School, structural linguistics, through Culture and Personality to the New Left, a lot as happened in the social sciences and the humanities. We of this tribe try to understand what happens when two very different theoretical fields of modernity both happen to make sense.
